Whanganui artist Sian Rafferty works with thread to create pieces that capture all the colourful sides of nature at Fern and Thistle Co. Sian is most well known for her custom pet portraits created through a meticulous process called thread painting. When not stitching Sian can most commonly be found in the kitchen trying to make fresh pasta from scratch (often badly), or on the couch watching another British crime show, probably trying hard not to stitch.
