We are so excited to be hosting Lara and Jess from Home-Work in Melbourne for two very special workshops to celebrate the launch of their new book Print Play.
First up is Screen Printing 101 - this one is for all you printing freshmen! Learn how to screen print with the Home-Work team in this one day class.
Screen Printing 101 will cover all the basics to get printing your original designs onto fabric and your own tote bag! During this day long beginners workshop you will have a chance to learn about how to create your own designs, what inks to use in screen printing , what types of fabric works well and all the techniques you’ll need to stencil cut and print your own designs.
Home-Work have spent the past 10 years teaching textiles design and screen printing at Home-Work Studio in Melbourne, Australia. As well as Harvest Textiles and the C.A.E.
WHEN Saturday 20th October. Class runs from 10.30am till 3pm.
WHERE Classes are held in our studio in Newtown, Wellington- Unit 28, 369 Adelaide Road, next door to Rich Coffee. Free parking on Adelaide Road. WHAT TO BRING No experience necessary, all materials are provided, all you need to do is bring yourself and lunch/ snacks for the day. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting splashed with ink!
